Look at it from the other direction as well...

Maybe Walmart wanted all the new side items, and they put the whole thing with "if you want those, you are going to have to take these as well...."

Well, it also isn't unknown fro WalMart to have cases FLOWN in from the factories bypassing everyone.

They did it Christmas before last to get ML5 on the pegs (minus the Blade 2 figure).

While they ship some other toy lines via horse and buggy. At least with Toy Biz. Ours is bad with MLs and Spidey (Cyber Spidey just arrived about a week ago), but there's sporatic success with LOTR.
